Green Kordofan is a registered UK charity dedicated to empowering children aged 6 to 18 through sports and personal development, particularly those affected by the civil war in Sudan. Operating primarily in the Yida Refugee Camp in South Sudan, the organization faces the immense challenge of supporting thousands who have been displaced from their homes. Green Kordofan aims to foster a culture of peace, teamwork, and resilience through various sports initiatives, including the establishment of the first girls’ volleyball team in Yida and managing thirty-eight boys' and girls' football teams.

In addition to sports, the charity provides valuable educational resources, offering classes in literacy, numeracy, music, and art in a newly built classroom.
