The aim of GreenLab, the first fablab in Nigeria, is to encourage small-scale development of valuable artefacts, by providing access to digital fabrication tools and technologies that encourages learning, rapid prototyping, ideation, innovation, and small scale development of artefacts. The sole purpose of GreenLab is to provide sustainable and simple solutions to complex social problems, right from the rural level, to the provincial level, and lastly to the national level. Thereby eliminating the impending issues from their source, by utilizing the available and abundant resources present within the communities GreenLab Microfactory promotes a green, eco-friendly, and sustainable environment, through research and development, education and training, technological and innovation awareness, and other human capital development projects. Lastly but not least GreenLab is passionate about eliminating the gap existing between school children and access to equipment capable of impacting and improving their learning outcomes. GreenLab therefore, provide free STEM educational outreach and classes providing both Awareness and/or Training where students carry out Arduino projects according to a GreenLab developed curriculum

About GreenLab Microfactory
GreenLab Microfactory is the first fablab in Nigeria, dedicated to promoting a green, eco-friendly, and sustainable environment. Their mission is to address the pressing social, economic, and environmental sustainability issues faced by developing economies, especially in rural areas. GreenLab achieves this through research and development, education and training, technological and innovation awareness, and human capital development projects.
