Green Lawn Cemetery

Green Lawn Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Columbus, Ohio, serving families with compassionate care and a range of funeral, burial, and memorial services. Established through the Green Lawn Cemetery Association in 1848, it was designed as a serene, natural landscape, with winding roads and paths shaped around the terrain, native trees, and scenic features. Its purpose is to provide a place where families can honor loved ones and preserve their legacies for generations.

The cemetery offers traditional casket burial, cremation options, mausoleum spaces, veterans’ spaces and benefits, and environmentally conscious options. Families can choose from upright monuments, grass-level markers, custom laser monuments, bench memorials, and memorial trees. Green Lawn also provides event spaces, cemetery merchandise, pre-planning resources, planning guides, and payment plans. Visitors can locate loved ones, explore cemetery maps and policies, and learn about its history and community resources. The organization welcomes inquiries and offers assistance with arrangements, including support for recent loss.
