About グリーンピース・ジャパン
Greenpeace Japan is an international environmental NGO working to address the root causes of environmental problems and help build a peaceful, sustainable future. Its campaigns are grounded in scientific research, public reporting and practical action, with a focus on climate change, renewable energy, sustainable transport, biodiversity, marine ecosystems and reducing single-use plastics. Greenpeace investigates environmental issues, shares findings and proposed solutions, mobilizes public support, and engages governments and businesses to encourage change.
Its work also includes advocating against deep-sea mining and for an effective international plastics treaty, as well as promoting climate action by communities and local governments. The organization offers ways for people to take part, including signing petitions, joining events, volunteering, accessing practical guides and supporting campaigns through donations. Greenpeace Japan says it accepts funding from individuals rather than companies or governments, preserving its independence when addressing decision-makers.
Working with supporters and Greenpeace offices around the world, it seeks to turn research and public participation into lasting environmental progress
