As an antidote to eco-anxiety, we aim to inspire enthusiasm and build capacity for positive environmental action. Our work is diverse. We provide technical and financial support for reforestation and urban greening projects. We craft creative eco-education curriculums and awareness campaigns. We run engaging nature-based events and experiences. From getting our hands dirty running local projects to consulting for global organisations, we turn ideas into impact. Greenpop was founded in 2010 and has since worked across Sub-Saharan Africa and empowered thousands of people around the world to get active (not anxious) about the future of our planet. ➡️ Facebook: www.facebook.com/Greenpop ➡️ Instagram: @GreenpopSA 📧 Email: [email protected]

About Greenpop
Greenpop is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to planting trees and providing eco-education. Their mission is to (re)connect people with the planet. It all began when co-founders Misha Teasdale, Lauren Teasdale, and their friend Jeremy decided to come together and plant 1,000 trees in Cape Town's under-greened communities.
What started as a simple goal quickly gained momentum, with underprivileged schools, companies, and individuals all wanting to get involved. This inspired the creation of Greenpop, an organization that focuses on sustainable urban greening and forest restoration projects, spreads environmental awareness, and activates individuals to become environmental stewards across Sub-Saharan Africa. Greenpop believes in (re)connecting people with our planet and making caring for the environment second nature.
They believe in staying positive and taking action for the future of our planet, and they believe that changing the world through environmentalism can be fun, creative, and accessible to everyone. Join Greenpop in their treevolution and help create a world where people and nature thrive together
