About GreenResources
Founded in 1995, Green Resources is East Africa's largest forest development and wood processing company. With a mission to follow the highest operational and environmental standards, the company manages approximately 38,000 hectares of plantation forests across Mozambique, Tanzania, and Uganda. Green Resources operates industrial facilities including two sawmills, three pole treatment plants, and a briquetting plant, employing around 600 people, which can increase to 1,500 during peak seasons.
The company's strategy focuses on growing wood for various traditional uses like sawn timber, panel board, packaging, and tissue, as well as for the bio-chemical and energy sectors.
