About Green Skills Library
Welcome to the Green Skills Library! We're excited that you've discovered us. Our brand is dedicated to providing you with the knowledge and resources necessary to live sustainably. Whether it's creating your own beeswax wrap or repurposing an old dressing table, we aim to equip you with the tools to make eco-conscious choices in your daily life.
But it doesn't stop there. We encourage you to share the projects you create, especially if you've found ways to improve upon our ideas. By doing so, we can collaborate and build a comprehensive online Skills Library, empowering others to make more sustainable choices.
Our vision is to create a circular economy by reducing waste and pollution, utilizing existing resources, and transforming our communities' disposable culture. We believe that learning is best achieved through following best practices and receiving feedback, which is why we strive to maintain the gold standard of craft creation in our ever-evolving Skills Library. In addition to fostering sustainability, we recognize the importance of relieving stress and fostering personal growth.
Our digital platform allows individuals to invest in themselves, develop new skills, and find fulfillment in completing tasks that range from income-generating opportunities to improving mental well-being. Furthermore, we understand the significance of our homes, especially given the past year's circumstances. No matter their size or situation, we believe there are always ways to sustainably improve living environments.
From window sill gardens to basic household repairs, we aspire to provide you with the tools and knowledge to care for your home using recycled materials. Responsibility is at the core of our brand. We believe that each individual has a responsibility to themselves and the planet.
Through full lifetime responsibility for our purchases and engaging in borrowing tools from our low-charge tool library, we can make sustainable choices and create a more environmentally conscious society. Our journey towards a sustainable future begins with small steps. We understand that people are creatures of habit, but by sharing best practices and inspiring green initiatives, we can cultivate fundamental changes in our communities, one behavior, one home, one street, and one borough at a time.
We have a dedicated team behind the Green Skills Library, each bringing their unique expertise and passion to our mission. From our founder, Donna Stimson, who has a background in sustainability and property renovation, to our directors, Katrina Sale and Hugh Thomas-Davies, who specialize in technology and sustainable development, we have a diverse group of individuals committed to making a difference. Our marketing and communications director, Alexandra Lily Fraser, and web developer and digital editor, Jonny Thomas-Davies, round out the team, ensuring effective outreach and a user-friendly online platform.
Thank you for taking a step with us towards a greener future. Join the Green Skills Library community and start your sustainable journey today!
