Greenville Energy Ltd

Greenville Energy is a Northern Ireland renewable energy company focused on turning organic waste into useful resources and lower-carbon energy. Operating an advanced biorefinery, it processes waste from dairy, agriculture, food and beverage production through anaerobic digestion. The resulting biogas is upgraded into biomethane and bio-LNG, which can supply energy-intensive industries and transport fleets. The company also recovers and purifies liquid biogenic carbon dioxide for food, industrial and dry ice applications, and produces digestate for use as fertiliser.

Its services include waste management, biomethane supply chain operations, LNG engineering, biogas plant construction, testing and analysis, nutrient management, and cryogenic logistics and distribution. Its products include biomethane, biogas, liquefied biogenic CO₂, sustainable biofertilizer and renewable electricity. Greenville Energy connects energy production with agriculture by recycling nutrients and using renewable energy to grow animal feed, supporting sustainable milk and beef production. The company describes its approach as a circular economy, designed to meet energy needs while recovering resources and reducing environmental impact.
