Greer Industries

Founded in 1914, Greer Limestone is a West Virginia mining and materials producer serving north central West Virginia and southwest Pennsylvania. The company describes itself as the state’s largest producer of limestone aggregates, supplying stone products for a range of projects. Its operations include three underground facilities and an open-pit quarry, with capacity to produce more than five million tons of limestone products annually.

Greer also produces asphalt and identifies itself as the leading asphalt producer in north central West Virginia. Its asphalt operations include two plants in Morgantown and one in Bridgeport, enabling production of asphalt materials for customers. The company’s site also lists Clarksburg Asphalt and Buckeye Asphalt among its asphalt offerings, alongside limestone products such as aggregate, crusher run, rip rap, and sand.

To help customers plan material needs, Greer provides an online calculator that estimates the tonnage of stone required based on project dimensions and selected material. The company cautions that calculator results are estimates and advises contacting its sales team for an exact quote.
