Greyhound Adopters for Racing is a worldwide coalition of Greyhound adopters and adoption volunteers who support the continuation of professional Greyhound racing. The organization says its members devote significant time to Greyhound rehoming and welfare, and do not earn their living by promoting or opposing racing. It presents its perspective as grounded in personal experience with former racing Greyhounds and exposure to their working lives at farms, training facilities and racing kennels.

The coalition’s mission is to educate the public about Greyhound racing, share information drawn from members’ experiences, and encourage people to reach their own conclusions using credible sources. It opposes efforts to ban racing and supports reforms when it believes they will benefit Greyhounds. Its website provides information about the organization and its position, along with resources, media content and news. It also invites adopters and adoption volunteers who share its views to join its public education and advocacy efforts. The group describes Greyhound welfare and the breed’s long-term interests as its central concerns.
