Greywood Arts is an arts and community organisation based in a historic Georgian house in Killeagh Village, East Cork, at the foot of Glenbower Wood. It aims to place creativity at the heart of the region by bringing artists and local residents together to explore creative processes, learn, connect and build a sense of belonging. Its work includes community art projects, cultural events and educational workshops, alongside studio space for local professional artists and residencies for artists from around the world.
The Residency at Greywood Arts offers visiting artists a place to develop their practice and connect with one another. The organisation also operates the Coach House Creative Hub, which provides studio membership and spaces available to rent for events and classes. Greywood Arts welcomes workshop proposals from facilitators and offers a programme of activities, including seasonal workshops and community events such as lantern making and a parade.
Through these programmes, facilities and creative partnerships, Greywood Arts supports artistic development while fostering connection and participation in the East Cork community
