Grid. ai, now presented as Lightning AI, is an artificial intelligence company founded by the creators of PyTorch Lightning. Its stated mission is to democratize state-of-the-art AI research by helping users focus on machine learning rather than infrastructure.

The brand positions its offering around making it easier for people working with machine learning to concentrate on their research and development, while Grid handles the infrastructure focus described in its messaging. The website directs visitors to Lightning AI for current information and provides links to documentation, customer stories, and a community Discord server. It also offers access to service terms and privacy information.

Grid. ai’s site notes that the platform has undergone a transition to Lightning AI, so users are encouraged to visit the new destination for details about the current offering. The available information does not specify particular tools, pricing, or technical features, but clearly connects the brand with machine learning infrastructure and support for AI research
