About Marty Tousley
Marty Tousley is a nationally certified Fellow in Thanatology and the owner and administrator of the Grief Healing website. With over 17 years of experience as a bereavement counselor with Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ, Marty has supported numerous individuals and families in understanding and coping with grief. Throughout her professional career, she has focused on issues of loss, grief, and transition.
Marty has a special interest in grief and the human-animal bond and has facilitated a pet loss support group for bereaved animal lovers for 15 years. As a contributing author for various platforms such as Open to Hope, AfterTalk, and The Grief Toolbox, Marty has written several books, booklets, articles, online e-mail courses, and e-books addressing various aspects of loss and grief. Her Grief Healing website offers information, comfort, and support to anyone coping with the loss of a loved one, whether that is a person or a cherished companion animal.
