Grindr

Grindr for Equality is the global social impact initiative of Grindr, focused on advancing health, safety, and human rights for LGBTQ+ communities worldwide. Launched in 2015, it works with advocates, community organizations, public health agencies, and other partners to connect people with information, services, and opportunities for change. Its efforts draw on Grindr, a social network for gay, bi, trans, and queer people, whose platform reaches users across 190 countries and territories.

The initiative supports its mission through community education, multilingual in-app campaigns, technology that promotes user safety and well-being, and funding for grassroots organizations. Its work has included sharing sexual health information, promoting HIV testing, providing mpox prevention and vaccine resources, supporting civic participation, and helping users access free HIV self-test kits through the Together TakeMeHome program. Grindr for Equality also backs advocacy related to LGBTQ+ rights and legal equality. Through global partnerships and digital outreach, it aims to help communities access vital resources and advance more inclusive, equitable outcomes.
