Groendakspecialist

Groendakspecialist is a specialist in green roofs and rooftop gardens, helping property owners create more sustainable, biodiverse outdoor spaces. The company serves private customers, businesses, homeowners’ associations, public authorities, and institutions, with services spanning advice, design, installation, and maintenance. Its team aims to deliver durable solutions that combine careful workmanship with practical and aesthetic quality.

Green roof options include lightweight, low-maintenance sedum roofs; sedum-and-herb roofs; and native wildflower and herb roofs designed to support biodiversity. Specialist systems include insulated green roofs with XPS insulation, green roofs for slopes up to 45 degrees using a stabilisation system, and retention or “blue-green” roofs with additional water storage to help reduce water nuisance and pressure on sewers. Groendakspecialist also creates rooftop gardens and works on projects of varied sizes and types.

The process begins with an assessment of the roof and a personal, no-obligation consultation, followed by a tailored quotation. After approval, specialists carry out the installation, and the company can provide guidance with subsidy applications where applicable.
