Grounded

Grounded is an architecture and development practice focused on putting people and the planet at the heart of its work. The practice believes that access to decent homes, buildings and places is fundamental to a healthy society, and aims to help create joyful places that support a fairer, more equal world. Working as stewards and facilitators for clients, Grounded offers more than architectural design: its team brings practical experience in development, cost management and planning, alongside knowledge of both the public and private sectors.

Its services include housing design, masterplanning, retrofit and client advisory, as well as work on community and workspace projects. The practice’s selected projects include Garden Community Masterplan in Essex, Lune & Derby Houses in Lancaster, Fairfield Homes in Croydon and Trellis Mews in South Norwood. Grounded also shares ideas and work through events, talks and media coverage.
