Groundwork1 is a simple learning management system and employee onboarding tool designed to make workplace training easier to access and complete. It delivers trackable training materials directly to employees’ email inboxes, where they can open interactive lessons without needing a password. Automatic reminders help keep courses on schedule, while managers can use a progress grid to monitor completions and review individual learner activity.

Organizations can create courses with a drag-and-drop lesson editor and launch training in as little as a day or two. The platform supports uploaded documents and videos, text and images, quizzes, digital signatures, secure downloads, and action buttons for confirming tasks completed outside the system. Video lessons can be hosted directly or embedded from YouTube and Vimeo.

Groundwork1 serves businesses and organizations with employee training, onboarding, and volunteer education needs, including nonprofits, churches, and teams with mobile workforces or frequent staff turnover. Users can create their first course for free, then choose a paid plan; eligible nonprofits may receive a discount.
