Growlerz is a dog-care and social venue in Seattle, Washington, built around the idea that dogs are family. Its services include weekday doggy day care, a dog play park, puppy and teen socialization, grooming, and pack hikes. The facility offers dogs space to play or rest without kennels, with trained caretakers providing exercise, attention, and opportunities to socialize. Growlerz serves fully vaccinated dogs and requires a profile for play-park visits.
The venue also brings people and dogs together through community events, private events, and a craft beer taproom featuring beer and cider. Visitors can relax while their dogs enjoy the play areas, including covered spaces for inclement weather. Events and activities have included trivia nights, corgi races, chili cook-offs, and dog birthday celebrations. Growlerz presents itself as more than a care provider: it aims to foster a welcoming community for dog owners and their pets. Located at 5269 Rainier Avenue South, the business offers day care Monday through Friday and scheduled play-park hours throughout the week and on weekends.
