Grow Native NZ

Grow Native NZ is a family-run nursery established in 2021 and based in Bell Block, Taranaki. It grows and supplies New Zealand native plants for home gardens, hedging, new developments and riparian planting, serving customers in Taranaki and beyond. Most plants are raised from locally ecosourced seed, although some are grown from cuttings or sourced elsewhere for specific projects. Customers can ask the nursery about seed origins and current availability.

The range includes individual plants and bulk options, with wholesale pricing available for larger orders. Ready-made riparian packs offer assorted species and quantities, including budget and larger starter packs; clearance and “seconds” plants may also be available at reduced prices. Orders are arranged by email, with collection in New Plymouth by prior arrangement and possible delivery for bulk orders. The Bell Block nursery is open by appointment for large orders.

Grow Native NZ emphasizes practical, locally minded growing. It reuses many plant pots, sources soil locally and collects rainwater for its growing needs.
