Grow Oak Ridge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting health in Anderson County, Tennessee. Our mission is to establish connections between local farmers, food producers, and the community to encourage healthier eating habits. We offer a range of programs and services to achieve this goal, including farm-to-school education, cooking demonstrations, and vegetable tasting sessions with children.
Our flagship initiatives are the Winter Farmers' Market, held every December to March, and Market-To-Go, available year-round. These platforms give local farmers and producers an opportunity to showcase their goods and provide the community with access to fresh, locally sourced products. By supporting our market, you not only contribute to the local economy but also help us improve public health.
At Grow Oak Ridge, we are committed to diversity and fostering an inclusive community. We are an equal opportunity provider of services and employer, with no discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, or any other protected classification. Join us in our mission to create a healthier and more connected Anderson County.
