Grow the Flow is a movement dedicated to addressing the critical issue of declining saline lakes, with a focus on the iconic Great Salt Lake. Excessive water use has led to the collapse of the lake, resulting in detrimental effects on human health, the environment, and the economy. This initiative aims to bring about an unprecedented flood of public support, policy innovation, personal action, and fundraising to replenish Great Salt Lake.
Led by a dedicated team, including environmental scientists, professors, and government relations coordinators, Grow the Flow is focused on supporting ongoing efforts and starting new initiatives that strengthen water security. They are working towards this goal through four coordinated programs: improving policy, empowering the public, innovating solutions, and growing support.
Developed as an initiative of Conserve Utah Valley, Grow the Flow is partnering with BYU’s Ballard Center for Social Impact to mobilize love and solidarity to save our communities and home.
