Grumbkow Colors

Christian von Grumbkow is a contemporary artist whose practice centers on painting and the expressive possibilities of color. Rather than beginning with a fixed concept or message, he develops many works through the act of painting itself, allowing color to guide the process. His work includes a range of series and paintings, from vibrant compositions to monochrome pieces on paper and canvas. The artist notes that color may also carry psychological meaning and invite personal interpretation.
