Południowa Służba Ratownicza (PSR) is a non-profit association based in Jaworzno, Poland, focused on emergency response, public safety and practical education. Its team includes paramedics, qualified first-aid responders, instructors and volunteers, combining operational readiness with community involvement. PSR is a unit cooperating with Poland’s State Emergency Medical Services system and maintains round-the-clock duty availability.

The association provides medical cover for sporting, cultural, corporate and community events, matching the response team and ambulance support to each event’s needs. Its educational offer includes practical BLS and AED training for businesses, public institutions, schools, organisations and other groups. PSR also organises Safety Day programmes, bringing together practical stations, demonstrations, exercises and simulations. Other activities include field patrols, children’s education and community safety initiatives.

For younger participants, the Młodzieżowa Sekcja Ratownicza introduces minors to useful emergency skills and prepares them to explore rescue-related interests. Operating in Jaworzno and across southern Poland, PSR relies on community support to sustain its non-profit work and readiness to help.
