GSCL eV

Germersheimer Segler Club (GSCL) e.V. is a sailing club based at the Rhine Harbour in Germersheim, welcoming people interested in sailing and club life. The association provides information about membership, club activities, events and sailing reports, and its board is available to meet visitors at the club’s facilities or by appointment.

Members have access to a clubhouse on the club’s pontoon, sanitary facilities and moorings for sailboats up to 9 metres long, 2.5 metres wide and 2.5 tonnes in weight. The club holds eight regattas each year, offering opportunities for members to take part in organised sailing. Younger beginners can gain their first experience on the water using one of the club’s three Optimist dinghies.

GSCL also shares seasonal schedules, current announcements, reports and an image gallery through its website. Its activities are connected to the wider sailing and sports community through memberships in the German Sailing Association, the Rhineland-Palatinate State Sailing Association, the Pfalz Sailing Association and the Pfalz Sports Federation.
