Girl Scouts of Northern California

Girl Scouts of Northern California is the regional Girl Scout council serving communities across Northern California. It helps girls bring their dreams to life through experiences that build skills, confidence, and connection, while encouraging them to work together to create a better world. Girls and families can choose how to participate, including joining a troop, taking part independently as a Juliette, or enrolling in a staff-led troop. The council also welcomes volunteers and offers guidance for starting and supporting troops.

Its programs include badges and awards, opportunities to pursue Girl Scouting’s highest awards, partner-led activities, travel, and experiences for older Girl Scouts. Members can participate in the Cookie Program, Cookies+, and the Fall Product Program, with resources on cookie varieties and program participation. Camp and outdoor activities are available, and the council offers property rentals. Families and volunteers can access events, forms, planning tools, training, and other membership support. Financial aid is available for participation.
