Good Shepherd Orphanage is a compassionate initiative located in Odupong Ofaakor, Ghana, dedicated to supporting orphans and disadvantaged children. Founded in 1987 by Bishop Kweku Addei, the orphanage aims to provide a stable and nurturing home for those in need. Since its establishment, Good Shepherd has grown from accommodating ten orphans to sixty-five, offering essential services such as daily meals, education, and healthcare.

The orphanage focuses on creating a safe environment where children can thrive and develop into self-reliant adults. It carries out its mission by ensuring the welfare and development of the children, working in alignment with the Children’s Act (Act 260 of 1998). Good Shepherd Orphanage also actively engages the community through volunteering opportunities and sponsorship programs, inviting support for its initiatives. By providing a reliable sanctuary, Good Shepherd strives to transform lives, offering hope and a brighter future for vulnerable children in rural Ghana.
