GTS Offenbach

GTS Offenbach, the Gewerblich-technische Schulen of the City of Offenbach am Main, is a public school center focused on technical and vocational education. Located on Schloßgrabengasse in Offenbach, it brings together several pathways for young people, apprentices and adults seeking further qualifications. Its Berufliches Gymnasium combines preparation for the Abitur with vocational learning, while the Fachschule für Technik prepares students to qualify as state-certified technicians. The Berufsschule provides instruction for apprentices in metalworking, automotive and aircraft technology, and mechatronics. Adults can work toward a secondary school certificate through the Realschule für Erwachsene, and the Berufsfachschule zum Übergang in Ausbildung supports students pursuing school qualifications alongside career orientation.

GTS offers practical learning in technical facilities that include robotics, a makerspace with 3D printers, and network and control engineering laboratories. The school also provides cross-program activities, student support and guidance, and works with partners and cooperates with local organizations. Through its range of educational routes, GTS helps learners develop technical understanding, build skills and prepare for further study, vocational training or professional advancement.
