GuateJazz is a non-profit transmedia project dedicated to strengthening the music industry, specifically jazz, in Guatemala and Central America. Established by the Foundation Amigos del Arte, GuateJazz aims to become a cultural reference for jazz in the region, fostering a vibrant music scene through a variety of initiatives. The project includes organizing and promoting concerts, as well as creating a digital platform that connects audiences with a wealth of resources including blogs, interviews, and educational materials.

Since its inception, GuateJazz has successfully hosted online events like concerts, masterclasses, and discussions, reaching an audience of over 50,000 people and benefiting approximately 1,150 musicians, students, and educators in its first virtual edition in 2021. By focusing on both performance and education, GuateJazz plays a crucial role in enhancing the cultural landscape and artistic development of Guatemala and beyond. Through ongoing partnerships and innovative programming, GuateJazz continues to inspire and engage the community in the appreciation of jazz music.
