Guerilla Tactix

Guerilla Tactix is a Hamburg-based personal training and fitness brand founded by licensed trainer Jan Malik. Its approach focuses on practical, all-round fitness: helping clients become stronger, faster, more enduring, focused, and resilient, rather than simply looking fit. Training is tailored to individual goals and draws on functional athletic conditioning, cross-training, self-defense, and combat sports. Malik brings experience training and competing in full-contact sports to a coaching philosophy centered on versatile movement and effectiveness.

Clients can choose personal training, small-group sessions, workplace fitness programs, or outdoor bootcamp-style workouts. The cross-training program uses a broad range of strength and conditioning methods, while Combat Concepts combines techniques from different martial arts and makes use of the body’s full range of movement and natural weapons. Sessions take place at a 60-square-meter gym in Hamburg, equipped with mats, a power rack, punching bags, kettlebells, and other training equipment. When conditions allow, nearby parks and the harbor area are also used for outdoor sessions.
