About Gufasha Girls Foundation
The Gufasha Girls Foundation (GGF) is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to advocating against child marriage and promoting girls' education in Uganda. Founded in 2016 by Joan Kembabazi in memory of her late friend who experienced the tragic consequences of child marriage, GGF is committed to empowering and changing the lives of girls in Africa. Through advocacy, capacity building, and education support, GGF aims to end child marriage and empower girls and young women to reach their fullest potential.
The foundation works with communities in Uganda, with Kayunga as its model district, creating awareness of girls' rights and values through various programs and initiatives. GGF's vision is to see every girl achieve her fullest potential and contribute to all aspects of life. Join GGF in their mission to empower girls and create a world of gender equality and opportunities
