Gugg'Dragons

Gugg’Dragons is a carnival Guggenmusik group based in Chermignon, in the Crans-Montana area of Valais, Switzerland. Founded in 2002, the ensemble brings together 44 musicians who combine bold brass playing, driving percussion and lively costumes to create an energetic carnival sound. The group performs in village streets, local celebrations and major Valais carnival parades, with more than 15 outings each year.

Its programme includes events such as Wildstrubel in Crans-Montana, Sainte-Catherine in Sierre and Carna’ dzons in Saint-Martin, as well as a support dinner in Chermignon. Gugg’Dragons shares its music and performance videos through Spotify, Deezer and YouTube, and publishes photos from its events. The group also welcomes new members: no musical experience is required, as newcomers can learn brass or percussion with the clique.
