Guidance in Every Season is an independently owned end-of-life support practice operated by Heather Rodacker in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and surrounding communities. As an End-of-Life Doula, grief educator and human services professional, Heather offers compassionate, non-medical support to individuals and families navigating caregiving, dying, grief and remembrance. Her approach is shaped by personal experience, a social work diploma, 20 years of hospital experience, and work with seniors, people affected by cancer and families at a funeral home.

Services are personalized to each person’s wishes, beliefs and circumstances. They include family guidance and practical planning, caregiver relief through companionship, preparation and support for final days, vigil planning, and help creating comfort through the five senses. The practice also offers grief education, gentle check-ins, and separately priced virtual, legacy and grief sessions. A complimentary 30-minute consultation helps families discuss their needs and decide whether the service is a good fit. Guidance in Every Season does not provide medical care, counselling, emergency response or overnight support; its role is to offer a steady presence, practical guidance and respectful companionship through life’s vulnerable seasons.
