About Gujarat Fire & Emergency Services

The Gujarat Fire Safety Compliance Portal (GujFireSafetyCoP) is an innovative initiative launched by the Government of Gujarat aimed at bolstering the state's fire safety framework. Managed by the Urban Development and Urban Housing Department, this portal serves as a comprehensive platform for streamlining the enrollment of Fire Safety Officers (FSOs) and the renewal of Fire Safety Certificates (FSCs).

GujFireSafetyCoP enables efficient management of fire safety protocols through a user-friendly online system developed by Guj Info Petro Limited. The portal encompasses essential services, including facilitation, enrollment, appointment of FSOs, and secure online payment options. FSOs play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, conducting bi-annual inspections, and overseeing mock drills, categorized into General, Advance, and Specialist based on building types.

Additionally, the initiative seeks to enhance legislative measures through updates to the Gujarat Fire Prevention & Life Safety Measures Act, ensuring a robust regulatory framework that prioritizes life safety and fire protection. Overall, GujFireSafetyCoP stands as a crucial step forward in enhancing public safety and emergency preparedness in Gujarat.
