About Dětská herna Gumídek Nýřany
Gumídek is a family-run children’s playroom in Nýřany, near Plzeň, led by Jan Hodek. Designed mainly for children up to eight years old, it also welcomes older children and offers a clear, supervised space with capacity for up to 30 people. Children can enjoy a ball pool with an inflatable crocodile, a pirate ship and slide, oversized building blocks, ride-on toys and play kitchens, while adults sit at tables inside the playroom.
Visitors can come without a reservation and pay 50 CZK per person per hour; weekday mornings are charged at 50 CZK per person for the whole morning. Payment is made on departure in cash or by QR code. Gumídek also offers birthday-party hire, with a private hall, decoration and cleanup, and families may bring their own cake and refreshments.
By arrangement, the playroom provides childcare and private morning visits for kindergarten groups. Parents can also buy coffee and homemade fruit syrups, and the business rents out inflatable castles
