Gumz Farms, a family-owned business, has a rich history that dates back to 1892 when Great Grandfather Gumz immigrated from Germany and established the first Gumz family farm in Indiana. Since then, their commitment to quality and dedication to the land have been passed down through generations, making them a trusted name in the industry. Today, Gumz Farms is owned by brothers Richard and Roderick Gumz, with the next generation recently returning to the farm.
Despite being a major producer in Wisconsin and the Midwest, Gumz Farms remains a close-knit family operation. Their range of products includes onions and potatoes, which are grown on their fertile land in Wisconsin. With years of experience, Gumz Farms ensures the highest quality and consistency in their products.
Being recognized as the 2023 Compeer Financial Food & Agribusiness of the Year is a testament to their hard work and commitment. Their extensive remodel and expansion in 2012 further demonstrates their dedication to meeting the increasing demand in a safe and responsive manner.
