Gunbies is a personal blog dedicated to Gundam and Gunpla modeling, toys, and photography. Created by hobbyist darkandchoco, the site shares a collection of model builds and toy photos, along with reviews and practical advice for fellow enthusiasts. Its posts feature Gunpla kits across several grades and scales, including High Grade, Real Grade, and Master Grade models. Examples range from straightforward builds to custom-painted projects, weathered finishes, and battle-damaged designs.

The blog also offers tutorials covering key modeling techniques, such as removing nub marks, panel lining, applying dry-transfer and water-slide decals, topcoating, hand painting, weathering, and creating battle damage. Equipment-focused content includes a review of a Tamiya air compressor and airbrush, as well as a DIY airbrush and spray booth project. Readers can browse the creator’s collection, photoshoots, and articles about where to buy Gunpla, alongside occasional posts about figures, anime-related toys, and Gundam destinations. Gunbies serves as an informal resource and showcase for people interested in building, customizing, and photographing model kits.
