Gun Class

US Gun Class provides concealed-carry education and certification courses at locations across the United States, serving more than 125,000 students. Its classes are designed for beginners through advanced shooters and combine practical handgun knowledge with an emphasis on the responsibility and legal considerations of carrying a concealed firearm. Students learn personal protection planning, situational awareness, firearm safety, handgun basics, shooting fundamentals, and gear selection. The curriculum also covers state carry laws, the legal use of force, violent encounters, and what may follow a self-defense incident.

US Gun Class offers in-person concealed-carry classes as well as an online permit-to-carry course for students in states that allow online training. Successful completion of eligible courses can support an application for a permit, subject to applicable state requirements. Instruction is delivered by licensed United States Concealed Carry Association instructors using training materials such as presentations, videos, and books. The organization also works with local instructors through affiliate opportunities and provides resources including state reciprocity maps, gun-law information, training guides, and certificate replacement services.
