GÜNDER

GÜNDER, established in 1992, is the Türkiye section of the International Solar Energy Society and a national association promoting solar energy and the development of Türkiye’s solar industry. It represents Türkiye in international energy bodies and collaborates with local and global organizations across the renewable energy sector. The association works to raise public awareness, expand access to clean and affordable electricity, encourage quality and fair competition, and coordinate stakeholders throughout the solar industry.

GÜNDER connects corporate and individual members, public institutions, educational organizations, and other energy-transition partners. Its membership includes companies involved in solar panel manufacturing, engineering, procurement and construction, installation, inverters, energy storage, operations and maintenance, and related technologies. The association also provides sector information through its news portal, publications, library, regulatory updates, reports, and energy calendar. Its projects and events support training, research, cooperation, and industry development. GÜNDER advocates for effective use of Türkiye’s substantial solar potential, including sustainable capacity growth, energy storage, and more efficient energy use.
