Gurwood Early Learning Centre

Gurwood Early Learning is a child care and preschool provider located at 228–230 Gurwood Street in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. The centre offers all-inclusive care for children aged six weeks to five years, combining long day care with age-specific early learning programs. Its six rooms support babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children, with environments and activities tailored to each stage of development.

Gurwood’s play-based curriculum follows the Early Years Learning Framework and weaves literacy, numeracy, creativity and social-emotional learning into everyday experiences. Qualified educators, including Early Childhood Teachers who lead preschool programs, help children develop confidence, independence and readiness for school. The centre also offers a Lil’ Melodies/Kindermusik program.

Care includes meals, nappies, sunscreen and learning resources, and the centre is approved for the Australian Government’s Child Care Subsidy, subject to family eligibility. Open weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. throughout the year, Gurwood provides indoor and outdoor learning spaces, including sun-safe play areas. Families can enquire about enrolment or arrange a centre tour.
