The Gusen Memorial Committee (GMC) is a dedicated Austrian association focused on preserving the history of the former national socialist concentration camp complex, St. Georgen-Gusen-Mauthausen. They honor the tens of thousands of victims from KZ Gusen I, II, and III concentration camps through various activities.
The GMC provides support to survivors, facilitates research, archives historical materials, and hosts guided tours of the former camp remnants. Additionally, they organize commemorations, discussions, and social meetings to ensure the remembrance of those who suffered at the camps. The GMC is a member of several NGOs and has received international awards for their profound research and remembrance efforts.
