About Gustos Coffee Co
Gustos Coffee Co. In the wake of the devastation caused by hurricane María, the coffee farms in Puerto Rico suffered a massive loss of over 18 million trees. To help restore the coffee agriculture, Gustos Foundation was established to support local farmers.
The foundation currently provides 100 registered coffee farmers every year with 1,000 ready-to-plant roya resistant coffee trees. By purchasing Gustos Coffee, you are contributing to the reforestation efforts and supporting the livelihood of local farmers. Ignacio Pintado García, a renowned farmer in Yauco, is leading the agricultural efforts of the foundation, alongside his wife Marian Martínez Vidal.
Together, they carefully plant and inspect each seed to ensure a successful harvest. Your coffee purchase also helps fund the foundation's initiatives. You can further show your support by wearing the Gustos pin, which is a direct donation to local coffee farms.
