Gut Elsensee

Gut Elsensee is a horse and boarding stable located on the outskirts of Quickborn, in a scenic setting north of Hamburg. Developed from a former farm, the equestrian property has been expanded since 1988 to provide facilities for a range of riding disciplines, with a focus on the wellbeing of both horses and riders. Its offerings include horse boarding and training, supported by stable buildings and open-fronted boxes.

The grounds feature a 40-by-20-metre indoor riding arena, a 20-by-60-metre dressage arena, a sand show-jumping area, and a covered lungeing circle. Riders can also use an 800-metre oval training track with drainage designed to keep it usable for regular exercise. The property includes 35 hectares of fenced pastureland, and its outdoor arenas are maintained for training and competition preparation. Gut Elsensee presents itself as a welcoming equestrian centre offering varied training opportunities in a peaceful countryside environment. The horse operation is open daily, with weekday and weekend hours, while office hours run Monday to Friday.
