Gut Melandersbruch is a family-run horse farm in Wuppertal, Germany, led by the Koch family and their team. Set amid open meadows, the farm offers horse boarding and breeding, with a welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable support for experienced horse owners and newcomers alike. Its services include turnout arrangements with a bringing-to-pasture service: horses can spend set hours outdoors in summer or winter, or, by request, remain on pasture around the clock or overnight. The farm also welcomes owners seeking a place for a yearling.
Activities include riding for children and young people, courses, show-jumping and dressage training by arrangement, short trail rides, a Caprilli tournament, and access to a lunge hall and horse walker. Boarders can choose their own veterinarian and farrier, reflecting the farm’s respect for owners’ preferences in their horses’ care. Gut Melandersbruch is affiliated with the Landwirtschaftskammer’s agricultural training program through the Essen district office. The farm welcomes visitors and inquiries during the week and on weekends.
