GVRHA

The Goulburn Valley Reining Horse Association (GVRHA) is a friendly, welcoming club based in Tatura, Victoria, established in 2005 to support the growth and promotion of reining. Affiliated with the National Reining Horse Association in the United States, it provides opportunities for riders at all levels, from newcomers to experienced non-professional and professional competitors.

GVRHA holds several shows throughout the year, including its annual feature event, the Water Wheel Reining Classic. Its activities also include the Green Rider Buckle Series, designed to welcome participants into the sport, and club events suited to a range of experience levels. Members can take part in as many or as few of the yearly shows as they choose. The association shares event schedules, results, membership information, forms, policies, and a trainers directory to help support its community.

GVRHA’s 2026 End of Year Celebration is scheduled for 7 and 8 November at Tatura Park, featuring Buckle Series shootouts, end-of-year awards, and the annual general meeting.
