GWC

Göteborgs Windsurfing Club (GWC) is a community club for windsurfers, windsurfing-foil enthusiasts and wingfoilers in the Gothenburg area, welcoming everyone from first-timers to experienced riders. Based at Fiskebäck small-boat harbour, the club brings local surfers together and provides a convenient place to meet and get out on the water. Its facilities include a clubhouse with changing rooms and showers, a dedicated rigging deck and loan equipment for members.

GWC supports people who want to learn or improve through information about windsurfing and wingfoil courses, private lessons and scheduled training groups for juniors and adults. Members can also take part in club evenings, social events, group trips and other activities, while junior programmes and camps offer opportunities for younger sailors. The club shares local wind and weather information, safety guidance and resources for finding, maintaining and storing equipment. With a focus on participation, shared knowledge and camaraderie, GWC helps members connect, develop their skills and enjoy wind-powered watersports around Fiskebäck and beyond.
