Gwengolo natur’

Gwengolo natur’ is a small independent business focused on environmental education and education for sustainable development. Established in November 2021, it offers nature-based learning activities for schools, children, families, local authorities, businesses and associations. Through these activities, participants explore ecology and conservation biology, build a general understanding of biodiversity challenges, and consider how the loss of biodiversity affects people and the natural world at different scales. The programme emphasizes that practical solutions exist and can work, while encouraging reflection on the changes needed to put them into practice.

Gwengolo natur’ also invites people to connect with the nature around them through curiosity, emotion and personal observation. Its approach welcomes different ways of experiencing the environment and encourages discovery close to home. The name Gwengolo means September in Breton, evoking the season’s harvests, traditional thatched roofs and the shifting colours of nature. The business shares information about its activities through an agenda and registration page, alongside details of past nature events.
