GW Performance Horses

GW Performance Horses, LLC is an equine and western sports business based in Granite Falls, North Carolina, founded by horseman and event producer Wyatt “GW” Bumgarner. Guided by a mission to grow western sports through horsemanship, leadership, youth involvement, and community service, the brand brings riders, families, and competitors together through training and events.

Its services include horse training, private horseback riding lessons, clinics, competition opportunities, and consignment horses. GW Performance Horses also produces barrel racing shows, local jackpots, and larger events, including the Foothills Barrel Classic, Foothills Spring Soirée, Cowgirls With A Cause, and St. Jude’s Showdown. These events combine western performance with charitable fundraising and opportunities for young riders.

Bumgarner also serves as NBHA NC03 District Director and supports community initiatives through his involvement with the Appalachian Disaster Coalition. Whether helping riders develop their skills, preparing horses, or organizing competitions, GW Performance Horses aims to foster a welcoming environment where people can learn, pursue goals, and contribute to the future of the equine industry in North Carolina and beyond.
