Gwunderfitz für Kids

Gwunderfitz für Kids is a private and subsidised childcare centre in Zürich-Affoltern, operated by the association of the same name, founded in 2011. It welcomes infants from around three months old through children of approximately five years, offering dependable, full-day care that supports families in balancing work and family life. The centre is open year-round, Monday to Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except on applicable public holidays in the City of Zurich.

Its care is designed to be loving, individualised and education-focused. Children build personal and social skills through everyday group experiences, while a specialist in early language development supports children, parents and staff. Gwunderfitz also works with families and, where appropriate, public services and interdisciplinary teams, including to help prepare children for preschool and kindergarten. The centre emphasises cultural diversity and quality development, and is a member of Kibesuisse and a recognised project childcare centre of the City of Zurich. Families can enquire, apply online or download application and parent-regulation documents.
