Gyermekek Varászhegye

Gyermekek Varázshegye Public Benefit Foundation is a Hungarian nonprofit established in 2003 to support children living with chronic respiratory illnesses. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of children with cystic fibrosis, asthma, allergies, bronchitis, persistent cough, and recurrent or acute breathing difficulties. The foundation supports care for children who require hospital treatment, including nursing, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation, with the aim of making life with chronic illness more manageable and positive.

Following the closure of the Svábhegyi Children’s Hospital, the foundation continued its work by supporting the Children’s Department of Pest County Flór Ferenc Hospital. Its activities focus on helping provide care for sick children and promoting better respiratory health. Individuals can support the foundation by allocating 1% of their personal income tax or by making a direct bank transfer. The organization also shares information and materials about tax-donation declarations to help supporters contribute. Its stated purpose is to help children with chronic conditions live fuller lives through improved care and rehabilitation.
