Gyermekjóga-oktatók

The Children’s Yoga Instructors Association of Hungary is a national community dedicated to helping children enjoy movement and supporting their physical, emotional, mental, and nervous-system development. Founded in 2013 as the Gyermekeink Mozgásáért Association, it began operating under its current name in 2019. Its instructors aim to make yoga accessible from preschool through the teenage years, while offering an engaging alternative to screen-based leisure.

The association supports families, educators, and yoga teachers through children’s yoga activities, professional development, and educational resources. Its free downloadable materials include yoga cards for seasonal activities, colouring pages, and mantras. It also shares a posture-improvement programme with schools and provides yoga mats to kindergartens, schools, and instructors.

Alongside these resources, the association organises charitable yoga sessions across Hungary, including school and kindergarten visits, and marks International Yoga Day with free children’s classes. Its work reaches thousands of children each year and encourages parents and children to spend meaningful time together. The organisation invites supporters to contribute through donations, including Hungary’s personal income tax allocation.
